Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 25, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Get BOB, Inc. (“Get BOB,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.getbob.ai (the “Site”). It also explains the choices available to you.
Necessary storage is used to operate the Site and remember your privacy choice. Optional analytics and advertising storage is used only according to the choice you make through our privacy controls. Merely continuing to use the Site does not constitute consent to optional cookies.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We may also use browser storage, tags, pixels, and similar technologies. These technologies can operate the Site, remember settings, measure how the Site is used, and measure or personalize advertising when you allow it.
2. Your privacy choices
When the privacy notice appears, you can choose:
- Necessary only: allows storage needed for Site functionality, security, and remembering your privacy choice. Analytics and advertising storage remains denied.
- Allow analytics: also permits analytics storage so we can understand Site usage and performance. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain denied.
- Accept all: permits analytics and advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization for tags that we enable through Google Tag Manager.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” on this Cookie Policy page. A new choice applies to future collection and does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the change. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
3. Technologies we use
Get BOB consent preference. We set a first-party cookie named getbob_consent_v1 to remember whether you selected necessary-only, analytics-only, or all cookies. This cookie is necessary for the Site to honor your choice across pages and visits. It expires after 12 months unless you delete it sooner.
Theme preference. The Site may use browser local storage to remember a light or dark display preference. This is functional storage and is not used for advertising.
Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage measurement tags. Tag Manager receives the consent state selected through our privacy controls so enabled Google and third-party tags can adjust their behavior.
Google Analytics 4. When analytics storage is granted and Google Analytics is enabled in our Tag Manager container, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_<container-id>. Google describes their default expiration as two years, although browser limits and our Google Analytics configuration may shorten that period. These cookies distinguish users and preserve session state.
Advertising measurement. When you accept all and advertising tags are enabled in our Tag Manager container, Google Ads or related measurement services may use cookies or identifiers to measure advertising interactions, support conversion measurement, and personalize advertising. The exact cookies can vary based on the tags and advertising services enabled at the time.
4. Advanced Consent Mode
The Site uses Google Consent Mode with optional analytics and advertising storage denied by default. Google tags load in a consent-aware mode. If storage is denied, consent-aware Google tags do not read or write analytics or advertising cookies for the denied purpose.
Google documents that advanced Consent Mode may still send limited measurements without cookies when storage is denied. These requests can include consent status, timestamp, browser and device information supplied in request headers, referrer, page URL, whether an advertising click identifier was present, and a random number generated on page load. Google may use these limited signals for basic measurement and modeling. They are not used by the Site to set analytics or advertising cookies while the corresponding storage permission is denied.
5. Information measured
Depending on your consent choice and the tags enabled in Google Tag Manager, we may measure:
- Pages viewed and navigation between pages.
- Interactions with prominent links and calls to action.
- Marketplace searches, app-list views, and app selections.
- Video starts and social-sharing actions.
- Successful contact-form, newsletter, and demo-booking completions.
- Browser, device, referrer, and approximate location information made available by Google Analytics.
Our Site data-layer events do not include the names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, messages, or booking details entered into forms.
6. Why we use these technologies
- To operate, secure, and maintain the Site.
- To remember your privacy and display preferences.
- To understand Site usage and improve content, navigation, and performance.
- To measure leads, subscriptions, appointments, and other business outcomes.
- To measure and, where permitted, personalize advertising.
7. Third-party services
Google processes data generated by Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and related services under Google’s terms and privacy documentation. You can learn more at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
We may add, remove, or reconfigure tags as our Site and marketing activities change. We require optional tags to respect the consent categories described in this policy. The providers, purposes, and retention periods applicable to a particular tag may also be described in that provider’s privacy documentation.
8. Retention
The getbob_consent_v1 cookie expires after 12 months. Google Analytics cookies use the retention configured for our Google Analytics property and are subject to browser limits; Google’s default for _ga and _ga_<container-id> is two years. Other cookies are retained only for the period needed for their stated purpose or as configured by the relevant provider.
9. Managing browser storage
In addition to using “Cookie settings” on this page, you can use your browser controls to view, block, or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking necessary storage may prevent the Site from remembering your preferences or cause some features to work incorrectly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, our tags, our practices, or applicable requirements. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. Where required, we will request consent again.
11. Contact us
